Reiki is a healing technique based on the principle that the therapist can channel energy into the patient by means of touch, to activate the natural healing processes of the patient's body and restore physical and emotional well-being.

​Some babies experience Reiki for the first time in a hospital’s neonatal ICU, as a way to reduce the stress associated with pain, sickness, and the constant drone of respirators, IVs, and other medical equipment. Reiki is especially helpful for preemies, especially those that are on life support or are too fragile to be held. Reiki can help these tiniest patients relax, improving their ability to cope with the stress of being hospitalized for the first few precious days of life.

My life-long interest in human behavior and formal studies of psychology give me the insights and skills to know exactly how to help you move beyond your fears as a parent. Any limiting beliefs you have that may be preventing you from reaching your highest parenting potential.

As Wong Mei Chi, my given Chinese name, I studied under the tutelage of Tien-Hsi Yang M.D., M.P.H., F.A.C.P., Chairman of the Evergreen Yang Foundation, in the Taiwanese province of Chunghua. My studies led me to the ancient village of Meinung of Kaohsiung County, where I walked with the indigenous Hakka people and learned their ancestral customs. When I returned to America, I used my unique knowledge to accent my studies of Reiki in the states.
